Founded in the Thiers region, a historic center of manufacturing expertise, PPI has developed recognized know-how in the overmolding of metal and plastic components, as well as in multi-material thermoplastic injection molding for technical and appearance-critical parts.
Since 2013, PPI has been part of the family-owned Marquardt Group (L’Outil Parfait), a company with more than a century of industrial expertise. Today, we combine the responsiveness and hands-on approach of a specialized manufacturer with the resources of an established industrial group that continuously invests in production equipment, people and innovation.
This combination gives PPI the capabilities to innovate and support increasingly demanding industrial projects.

Since 2013
The Group’s Center of Excellence for Plastic Injection Molding
PPI’s integration into L’Outil Parfait reflected a clear ambition: to establish the company as the Group’s center of excellence for plastic injection molding while continuing to support its external customers.
Since then, sustained investment has modernized our manufacturing capabilities and expanded our production capacity. Our equipment now includes robot-equipped injection molding machines, micro-injection capabilities, vertical presses dedicated to overmolding, a two-component injection molding machine and a dedicated medical molding press operating under laminar flow in conjunction with an ISO Class 7 cleanroom.
In 2023, PPI consolidated its injection molding and machining operations at a new facility in Orléat. The site provides a more modern working environment, increased production capacity and closer collaboration between our teams.
Supported by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, these investments reflect our long-term commitment to building a high-performance manufacturing operation capable of supporting our customers’ evolving requirements.

1988
Précis Plastic Injection is founded.
2013
PPI joins the family-owned Marquardt Group (L’Outil Parfait).
2020
Manufacturing capabilities are expanded with the development of the machining division.
2021
ISO 13485 certification obtained.
2023
Injection molding and machining operations are consolidated at the new Orléat facility, 25 minutes from Clermont-Ferrand.
2025
ISO 9001 certification obtained.

A Message from Our Managing Director
Précis Plastic Injection is a close-knit industrial company with deep roots in France’s Auvergne region. Since 1988, we have developed and manufactured plastic components to meet our customers’ requirements.
Joining the family-owned Marquardt Group (L’Outil Parfait) in 2013 marked an important turning point for PPI, with the ambition of establishing our company as a center of expertise for the development and production of new products.
That ambition has been backed by continuous investment in modern manufacturing equipment. Today, our production capabilities include injection molding machines equipped with 3- and 6-axis robots, vertical molding machines, 2K injection molding, all-electric presses and a dedicated medical injection molding machine operating under laminar flow in conjunction with an ISO Class 7 cleanroom.
In August 2023, our machining and injection molding operations were brought together at a new facility in Orléat, strategically located near the Clermont-Ferrand–Lyon highway corridor. The new site provides our teams with a larger, more modern manufacturing environment.
Our growth has gone hand in hand with the continued development of our quality management system. PPI achieved ISO 13485 certification in 2021, renewed in 2024, followed by ISO 9001 certification in 2025.
Building on this progress, we are also integrating social and environmental considerations into our broader corporate strategy through our CSR program.
