Quality & Sustainability
Quality, Responsibility and Continuous Improvement
Since 1988, PPI has been manufacturing plastic components for demanding markets including medical and healthcare, defense and aerospace, electronics, construction, professional tools, leisure, tableware and consumer products.
Today, our manufacturing operations are based in Orléat, in France’s Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, with convenient access to major road, air and rail networks.
Certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485, PPI operates an integrated Quality, Safety and Environmental Management System focused on product conformity, process control and customer satisfaction. Our sustainability approach is guided by the principles of ISO 26000, with a clear objective: continuously improve the way we manufacture while maintaining the quality and technical performance our customers require.

Quality Management
Quality Built into Our Organization
Quality is not limited to final inspection. It is embedded throughout our organization and manufacturing processes.
Our integrated Quality, Safety and Environmental Management System structures our activities around product conformity, process control, employee safety and customer satisfaction.
This framework enables our teams to maintain control throughout the project lifecycle, from engineering and industrialization through serial production.
Continuous improvement remains a central part of the way we strengthen manufacturing performance and product reliability over time.
What Our Management System Supports
Certifications
Certified Quality Management Systems
Our certifications reflect PPI’s commitment to structured processes, continuous improvement and consistent manufacturing performance.

Quality Management for Medical Device Components
Our ISO 13485-certified quality management system provides a framework for managing the specific requirements associated with manufacturing components for medical devices. This includes areas such as process validation, production traceability, document control and risk management.
Quality Management & Continuous Improvement
ISO 9001 certification reflects the maturity of our quality management organization and our commitment to continually improving our processes. This structured approach supports consistent quality and reliable manufacturing performance for our customers.
Metrology & Inspection
Measurement Capabilities to Verify Product Conformity
PPI operates a comprehensive range of metrology and inspection equipment combining conventional measurement tools with a coordinate measuring machine capable of both optical and touch-probe inspection. These capabilities are used to verify part dimensions, validate initial production runs and monitor conformity throughout manufacturing. Accurate measurement and inspection support process repeatability and the reliability of the components delivered to our customers.

Our Sustainability Approach
Toward More Responsible Plastics Manufacturing
For PPI, industrial performance goes hand in hand with economic, social and environmental responsibility.
Every decision we make aims to build a more responsible plastics industry while maintaining the high standards that have built our reputation.
Our sustainability strategy follows a continuous-improvement approach, translating our commitments into concrete actions that evolve alongside the company and the expectations of our customers, employees and partners. Our objective is to make measurable progress without compromising the technical, quality and manufacturing requirements of the products we produce.
Responsible Growth
Building Long-Term, Responsible Partnerships
PPI develops long-term relationships with customers, suppliers and industrial partners.
We regularly measure customer satisfaction to identify improvement opportunities, while our Supplier Ethics Charter formalizes expectations relating to transparency and responsible business practices.
Our participation in major industrial trade shows including FIP, Global Industrie, Business Industries and Eurosatory keeps our teams connected to market developments and creates opportunities for new industrial partnerships.
Our approach to innovation also includes collaboration with partners developing alternative material solutions. PPI works with ERANOVA, which develops bio-based materials incorporating algae-derived content, to explore more sustainable solutions suited to industrial applications.
Environmental Impact
Reducing Our Environmental Impact Over Time
PPI is implementing a range of initiatives aimed at reducing the environmental impact of its operations. We monitor energy consumption, analyze production scrap to reduce material losses and continue to assess our carbon footprint to help prioritize future actions.
We also promote lower-impact mobility through carpooling and participation in the Challenge Mobilité, while exploring alternative fuels such as HVO.
Our sourcing strategy contributes to this approach as well: 61% of our suppliers are located within our region and 93% are based in France, supporting shorter supply chains and closer supplier relationships.
We also help our customers select more sustainable materials. Recycled plastics, bio-based materials, algae-based materials and post-consumer recycled resins address new environmental challenges without compromising the technical performance of their products.
People & Skills
Investing in the People Behind PPI
PPI’s performance depends first and foremost on the skills and commitment of its people.
We invest in training, knowledge transfer and skills development while regularly welcoming interns and apprentices to help develop the next generation of manufacturing talent. Our teams also participate in recruitment forums, career-discovery events and initiatives with schools and educational institutions.
We are committed to professional equality and quality of working life. Today, women represent 46% of our workforce and men 54%.
Workplace & Equal Opportunity
Our company life also includes awareness and community initiatives such as Pink October, Movember and holiday charity activities. A beekeeping project installed at our facility also contributes to local biodiversity awareness and provides an opportunity to engage employees around environmental topics.
